Should I go darker or lighter for the wedding..im thinking about just getting very natural highlights (not streaky looking ones) but very subtle..this will darken my hair quite a bit...should i do this? or go with noticably blonde highlights...im so confused ..what are you all doing with your hair?

Re: hair help
I dye my hair a burgandy/eggplant color regularly and will keep that for my wedding. I want whatever is 'me' and nothing too extreme.

Re: hair help
Keep it close to how you are most familiar with it. I'm sure it will look great a shade lighter or darker. As long as you are happy with it

I'm keeping my hair dark, which is my natural hair color.

Re: hair help
I'm going a little lighter with highlights.... I've always had them, but have gradually been going lighter. I like the way it looks in pics & especially with curls the highlight makes them stand out. I would say go lighter - maybe they could alternate with a light highlight & a darker one.... That way it would be subtle...

not sure, I think the blond you have now looks really nice in your hair trial pics, like it lights up your face or something....but I'm sure it would look beautiful in your natural color too....any pics with natural color? probably not if you haven't had it in 10 years....wow I'm so helpful

ok these are the only pics i can find where my hair looks darker..the third one was taken 3 weeks ago
I would stay with something natural looking. You don't want to look back at your wedding pictures and say...'oh geez' . Something like what you have looks very pretty. very natural looking highlights a couple shades lighter give it depth so I would definitely do that.

I think you should stay with what you are familiar...having said that, you do have some time till August to try out something different and see how you like it..good luck!

I would stick to your usual color, just because you don't want to regret making a drastic change for the wedding.
