Is anyone getting married early in the day and will have their hair and makeup stylists coming to them? I am having a hard time with finding someone for hair that will travel to me on the day of that is reasonable. Any suggestions? I'm getting married near Riverhead and will be staying at a hotel the night before...

What is your price range? I recently had a trial with Stacey and Sabrina of Fresh Face Forward and was sooo happy with both hair and makeup. I booked with them.

We are having our hair person come to the hotel in the early morning (probably about 6:30 am). We're not doing up-dos, just blow-outs (since we all have short hair and want it down). I'd be happy to give you our person's info if you'd like, or FM me for more information. I went for my trial / test run a few weeks ago in Farmingdale and thought she was great!

I'm trying to stay under $100 for hair but I'm not sure how possible that is. I already have someone for makeup, so I'm not sure if I would need to book the team. I do have 9 other people who may be in need of styling (i'm positive that 3 of them will) and anyone who is getting their hair done will be getting an updo of some sort.
The problem is that I'm getting quotes that are upwards of $200 for me, and $100 for my BMs. I feel that that's wayy out of control, and have paid much less when I was a BM in other weddings. Also, many vendors are requiring that I guarantee a minimum of at least 5 people because they have to travel, and I still have 4 months to go and I know that no one has thought about that yet. ugh!

Are you doing up-do's? For a straight blow out / styling, I got quotes of well under $100, even for traveling to you. I only have 2 BMs, plus mothers, and me. It looks like it'll be under $300 for everyone total, if not even less. (I haven't given her my final #s so I don't have a final quote yet.)
Up-do's seem to be way more.

i am using jenn the hair genie and oksana for makeup... both have reasonable prices. the only thing is that you have to guarantee at least 3 people. they will travel to you though.

If I can ever get to a trial, im prob going to be using a girl named rachel... the trial is out in ronkonkoma but she will travel to you on the day of the wedding... shes less than $50 for hair! FM me if you want her # ... maybe you can get to a trial before i do
