Hair, help :(
So the girl who normally does my hair is one of my bridesmaid's, and was going to do my hair for the wedding. Couple of issues though she is always so busy that we have yet to do a trial. She is now leaving to go on vacay on October, she is also leaving on another vacation right before my wedding and is due back 3 days before. Last issue is that my hair is a little hard to deal with its baby fine, but lots of it so thick, and a little dry from sun, pool, and dying damage. I am just starting to be concerned that she may not be able to achieve the picture I have in my mind for that day. Please help I really don't know what to do.

Hair, help :( - Long Island Weddings
Truthfully, if you are questioning her ability to do what you want to your hair, I would start doing trials with other people. If you do a trial with your friend and you don't like it, its probably going to really hurt her feelings (and possibly your friendship?) if you decide to have someone else do it after the fact. I would just tell her that you want her to be able to relax, have some mimosas with you and get ready WITH you on the day of. Takes the stress of both of you.

honestly, I would do different hair trials with places and find the one you like best and tell your friend, its going to be chaotic that day and that she has done so much for the wedding you want her to relax and be pampered!

I agree! the 'i just want you to relax and not have to work on the wedding day' excuse is perfect too :)
