Hair Help - Suffolk County

As you know we just moved to Ronkonkoma and I really don't want to drive back to Yonkers to get my hair done. Any suggestions for places for updo's and also highlights/cuts

I always went to Downtown Hair Salon on Main Street Sayville. They're excellent!!

I go to Nu COncepts - Sebastiano - he is in Sayville on Main Street. Make sure you use the number for Sebastiano, since there are other that rent space in the same salon.

He is a miracle worker as my friedns and I call him. He is pricey but worth every cent of it!!!

I just moved back to the area too (Farmingville) and have been recommended to Tapestry Salon in Centereach. I haven't gotten a hair cut yet but they did color and are doing my hair for my wedding. Seems like a really nice place.

someone on here recomended ULTA Salon in Holbrook. Its on Sunrise highway in the Gateway shopping center. I need my hair cut and I think Im going to go there!!

Ooh, I live right around the corner from that Ulta. If you go there, let me know how you like it! I have a hair girl, but I'd like a back up place in a hair emergency

it's a bit of a schlep from Ronkonkoma, but Kevin Maple Salon in Southampton does a GREAT job with color and updos.

I have been to Ulta and they are good, just not great. I used to go to Downtown too, but they would do a good job, but they never cut my hair to my best benefit, they would cut it how I wanted it, and that wa it. WHen I went to Sebastiano he said, I can't believe they are cutting your hair like this, it is completely unflattering, and he changed my hairstly, and I love it. I liked my old hairstyle, but it was suited for my face, I didn't know better.
