The people's work I like so far are very $$..Nelson D'Leon and Denise Venti. ...waves not curls, if it's an updo I want it simple...if I had to describe it I would say hollywood-like in that sense of no tight ringlet curls, more like something a celeb would wear on the red carpet, if that makes any sense. I do have pics to bring to a trial but no one specific style I'm set on.
I really need to get going with hair trials..don't have anything even booked yet.
I have a feeling my make-up is going to be $$ so I'd like to stay under $100 if possible...but please give me any recs you have..I've seen lots of people's trials and I truly think they are beautiful but not really *me*

I love them! i think it will be about $125 - more than i'd like but the least expensive i'd found. here is a pic, they will be bit curlier my hair was too long and heavy to hold the curls and it rained. i thought maybe this was the kind of waves you were looking for.

yes, this is along the lines of what I'm looking for! Do you know if anyone here has used them in the past? I'm a huge worrywart and just want to make sure they are reliable, etc.
unfortunately i dont know anyone who has used them in the past but in 11 days i will know how reliable they are! they cut and color my hair on a regular basis and i love their work and the trial was fabulous! i was just there all day sunday for the works - high lights, ionic treatment (love love love this - makes your hair soft as silk!) - eyebrows - and cut and they gave me a compimentary french manicure!! i will be going back in a week for mani/pedi for the big day!

I guess you *will* know if they are reliable..I am such a moron, sorry about that! Are you going there on your wedding day? I was just looking at the website and noticed the price is $175 if you don't go to the salon
yeah i'm having them come to me - its expensive but they are fabulous - i had a hair trial from someone inexpensive and they wrecked my hair! so i am willing to pay extra for this - i have blown my budget but i want to feel beautiful.
