Ok - I have long BIG Curly hair (think Felicity or ........Julia Roberts' Pretty Woman days) Anyway, I DO NOT want to wear it piled on top of my head b/c i'll have a migrane, and I don't want to LOOK like I sat in the chair for 5 hours !! - WHAT DO I DO ??? - Fiancee doesn't really like my hair straightened out - Any ideas ???

I don't know what you mean by this, but how about long loose waves?
They can straighten it and wave it with a curling iron, so it looks natural, not shirley templish.
ETA: I bet your hair is beautiful the way it is!

I mean I don't want it to look all stuck and pinned and like i'm trying to balance my hair on my head ....I'm looking for something a little more messy looking w/o being a mess !! - I know - I can't even describe what I want !!
