Hair Make Up for Bridal Party - How much do you do for them?

How much of this did you pay for every one? I have myself, 3 moms, 6 bridesmaids and 2 flower girls...
12 people....

I really don't want to pay the bill for everyone's hair and make up.

I'm thinking of paying everything for myself, the moms and hair only for the bridesmaids and flower girls and letting the bridesmaids know that they can either do their own make up or have it done professionally at their own expense.

Is that ok?

I'm paying for hair only. They all know if they want make up they can pay for it that day.

I also bought them their jewelry for the day. Necklace, Bracelet, & Earings

Up do's cost anywhere from 55-100 once they hear wedding they crank the $$) make up for the bride i have heard being close to 150....BM 75-90.....again more b/c of wedding...go figure! Ok i just called my Cousins g-friend who works for MAC and with professional models (doing body art) she said most makeup artist chage a base ie....150 for a bride and depending on the amount of BM and other people she would charge 75-50 (she said she would do your party for 50pp) If you want to see her work check out my album.....her name is Eve.......also my friend Lara told be me about the updo price....hope that helps!

BTW i kinda think that is a lot to buy all the girls! what about buying them something to wear?

That's what I'm thinking too. I'm looking at $1500 for hair and make up???? I want everyone to look their best, but this is before a gift???

Just seems like a lot ..

I paid for mine, dh and I bought my mother a gift certificate for her hair and makeup for her birthday and we did the same for my mil and I paid for my mohs hair. I had 12 girls and 3 flower girls so if I paid for everyone, hell I would still be paying it off

I am paying for me and my mom, that's it.
I would love to do everyone, but things add up quickly and I am sure some of my bm's will like to go to their own hair/mkup people.

Usually the BMs/MOH pay for their own make-up and hair. Unless you are imposing a more expensive vendor they 'have to' use. Then maybe you can 'participate' in the expense.

They buy their dress, shoes, etc...

Originally, I had planned on paying for everyone, but that's when I was still going back to work after the baby! Since I haven't, I told the girls I would check on prices and it would be up to them if they decided to get their hair done professionally. All of my girls WANT to do their makeup themselves, so all I need to worry about is a gift. .

I'm paying for all the BK's hair plus my two MOH's make-up but only because it is part of their gift along with manis/pedis. Everyone agreed they would rather have this than jewelry or something else.

As of right now, all of my BMs are paying for themselves. I would love to be able to take care of those things for them but we already spent alot on their gifts and I'm too poor right now. I'll see as the date gets closer if maybe I can contribute something to it but it's not likely.

I think that is fine. I'm letting everyone know about my hair and make-up plans and they prices if they want to get theirs done as well.

That's very fair. I'm paying for my BMs make up but not hair.
