Hair & Make-up - HELP

Ok ladies, I have selected my hair and make-up vendor. here's my question - did any of you get a contract from your Hair and/or make-up person?
I don't think my 'girls' have used a contract before and I would like to. I've offered to draft one but would like to see if there are any industry standards. if you have one would you mind sharing it with me so I can take a look at what's typically included. If you didn't get a contract from them, how did you secure services? just pay the deposit and they show up that day?

I didn't have a contract or leave a deposit which did make me a little nervous at first but everything worked out I just kept emailing them to make sure that we were still on

When I sent a deposit I got a receipt and a confirmation via email. After my trial I discussed future exchanges that would be necessary.

hair i paid a deposit per person via credit card and makeup is a friend of mine so no contract other than i will kick her a$$ if she stands me up!!!!

i have a contract and had to leave a deposit with my makeup person. i haven't officially booked my hair yet, though i don't think i'll need a contract, b/c it's my regular hair dresser and they haven't asked me for anything as of yet.
