Hair & Make-up NIGHTMARE

ok.. so for the last week I have had 4 nightmares about showing up to my wedding with bed head and no make up!

I figure it's time to schedule some trials.. I'm sure I should have done this months ago.. but I'm a big time procrastinator!

So... we are going to be at my house in Massapequa.. then going to OWG and then to Chateau Briand.. so I figure I can't go to a place TOOOOO far... also.. I have myself.. my mom and 7 bridesmaids plus my flower girl.. all but 2 bridesmaids and my flower girl are getting our make-up done.. and ALL 10 of us need our hair done.

Who are you guys using? Are they coming to you? Are you going to them? Is it just better to go to a salon or something? I'm so confused.. please help me end the nightmares hahaha

i found a girl on craigs list who isnt far from me...im gonna set up a trail after the holidays!! she gave me an awesome price and will come to the house!

check out lumara in massapequa...i went there once to get my hair and make up done for a wedding i attended and they did such a great job

its on north broadway

yeah they are awesome!! if i dont go with someone who can come to the house i am def going there!

My daughter just got married in Nov. We used Kacey and Rosemarie from Khoulouds. They came to us. It was just my daughter and I having hair & makeup. One did hair and one did makeup. They also work in a salon on Broadway in Bethpage. That's where we went for our trial. They were very good. We were both very happy with the way our hair/makeup came out. We live in Seaford.

I am using someone who comes to my house (Khoulouds) but only b/c they need to come at 5:30 AM!!! And salons wanted $100 + extra just to open for me.

Since you are getting married at night , you have the option to go to a salon. I heard Lumara (already mentioned) was good and then there's the one near you on Merrick between unqua and sergios. Or even Maximus in Bellmore.

There are probably a billion others I am not mentioning.

Ditto for Kacey and Rosemarie...check out ,trial pics in album. you do the trial at her house and then she comes to you the day of.

One of my BM's is a stylist so shes doing my hair and I have another friend who is a make-up artist at Maximus. (Raquel), she will be doing my make-up. FM for more info

LOL...I sooooo glad I'm not the only wacko having dreams/nightmares about it being my wedding day and my hair and makeup isn't done...LOL Phew...I really thought I was going nuts...It really is a crappy dream though isn't it? I woke up several times really freaked out about it...
