I was just wondering what the average price is to get hair and make-up done. How much is everyone spending (or willing to spend)? Last night I got quoted $150 for make-up, which seems a little exorbitant, especially since I think I can do a pretty good job of it myself. Thanks girls.

I am paying 125 for my hair and 50 for my makeup- both artists are coming to me.

$125 for hair - my make-up artist is my friend.
ETA - most of the make-up artists i had talked to were between $50 and $100

The average it seems is $100-$125 for bridal makeup--unless you have airbrushing--that's usually an additional $$ ($25 for mine)
Hair can range anywhere from $50-$200....depending on the extent of the 'do'
There are makeup artists who will charge upwards of $250 in order to 'come to you' the day of...and hair people that charge $700 because they're considered 'the best' at what they do.....
But for averages--expect to pay between $200-$300 for hair/makeup the day of your wedding.

I just spoke with my salon and they would charge $175 to do my hair, and $125 for the rest of the girls. You'd think they'd cut me a break since I've been going there for years. But they said it's extra b/c I'd need to be done so early and it's a Sunday.
Damnit, weddings are too expensive.

i am not sure but my make up is around $125 plus tip my hair is some where between $150-$200 not sure

I'll be the only dope paying more for makeup than hair. Hair cost is 75 (she comes to me) and makeup will be 125-150 (haven't decided who I'm using for makeup yet).
