So I'm starting to contact vendors for hair & make-up and I'm wondering: a. how much was your trial? b. how much did they charge you and your bms for the day of?
Is $150 for a trial a lot of money?

Re: Hair & Make-up trial?
Yes I think $150 for a trial is too much money.
I went on one trial and paid $150. I HATED it! And it was the biggest waste of money! $150 right down the drains!
$50 is a much much more reasonable price.
I feel like they charged $150 at the trial because not many people book them so they had to make their money somehow... so they make it from the trials. At least I felt this way RIGHT AFTER MY BAD TRIAL! At first I thought wow they must be really really good. Ha ha ha! Boy was I wrong. I really regret having to pay $150 and if I had to do it over again... I wouldn't have gone on the trial.

Yeah that's kind of what I was thinking. I felt like 'you want $180 for the day of and $150 for a trial? ***? I'm traveling to you?' I don't mind spending money for the day of, but I thought that was a bit exhorbenant for a trial. I told her that was too much money. So, who did are you ladies using then? PLEASE HELP? My biggest issue is that I'm really good at putting on my make-up, but I want someone even better than me for the day of, you know? Someone with that professional touch who can do airbrushing or do make up better than me. And I definitely don't want to waste $150 to try out different ppl before finding the one right person, you know? I'm so confused. Who did you ladies go with and what was your experience?

Re: Hair & Make-up trial?
My trial for hair and make up was $120 but when I booked the $120 was applied to my day of balance, so then it was technically a free trial.
