Hair/ Make Up Trial Hiring Etiquette

If you have a hair and make up trial with someone, is it poor etiquette to hire them for one thing and not the other?

My Mom says that it would disrespectful and awkward, but I am thinking its just business. Thoughts?

if you mean asking the hair/makeup person to do your hair/mu a certain way, that's perfectly acceptable.

the person will even ask you if you want to try a certain style.

I think you're right that it's just business - but I would probably feel awkward the day of. That's just me though.

No, I meant to hire the person to do hair alone and hire someone else to do the makeup alone.

Business is business. They're probably happy to have the job.

I think if you give them ANY business they should be happy. Its really their problem if they feel awkward about it! But you shouldnt! JMO! HTH!
