I would say 6 to 8 months prior is good enough.

I'd say the sooner the better. I started looking at my 8 month mark and many were booked. I have slim pickings, I wish I started earlier. Don't wait, start looking.

I booked mine in September 05 for my November 06 wedding (without a trial). Even when I called back then, some people were already booked for my day.

I am having mine done next wednesday- but only because I am getting married in Ireland and we will be there next week!!!





But I would say 6- 8 months is plenty of time.

I'm doing trials now, because I don't want them to be booked by the time I want to book them. I'm very particular as to what I want, so Im hoping I can get that out of the way soon.

I booke Oksana in April 05 for June 06 wedding. The only reason I got her for my date was because someone cancelled! I wouldn't wait!
