In the event I can treat my bridal party to only one (hair OR makeup), how do I make sure that they know I'm paying for just one? Do I just come straight out and say it??
'I'm getting my hair done; let me know if you want yours done too... it'll be my treat!'
and then what would i say about the makeup... 'i'm getting my makeup done, too, but if you want yours you're on your own'???
i hope i can treat to both... if i can treat to only one, which would you recommend: hair or makeup?

Re: Hair & Makeup
I recommend hair if you had to pick between hair and make up. One of my BM's did not get her hair done for my wedding and it looks like total crap in all my pics.
Its sweet of you to pay for a service for your BM's. I would be VERY upfront abiut the fact that you'll only be paying for one. You would wanna avoid any confusion and awkwardness!

Yeah I would just say that you are treating them to their hair...I don't think you even need to mention the makeup but if you really want to maybe you can just say something like'if I could afford to pay for makeup too I would without hesitation...if you guys do want to use the same lady she charges $whatever.'

Re: Hair & Makeup
As part of my gift for the bm's I gave them a certain amount of cash to put towards whichever they preferred.... They all ended up getting both done because it lowered the price of everything for them! HTH!

Re: Hair & Makeup
I got only makeup for my girls, my hair girl was one of the BM's so she helped the other 2 girls out a little, but their hair came out great and they basically did it themselves.
I let them know by telling them I would be paying for them to get their makeup done.
