Hair & Makeup Advice

I need some help ladies.

When my sister got married last year she used The Bridal Touch by Elena (who is listed as a vendor on LIW)

i loved the way she did my sister's hair and makeup and i like the way she did my makeup, but i don't like the way she did my hair. Although, to be fair, this was not her fault because my sister was being a bit bridezilla-ish and would not let anyone have a hairstyle close to hers. i never wear my hair up and i was forced to wear my hair a completely different style than i normally wear and my hair looked foreign on me. Evenmy FH didn't like it.
I know that when i go for my hair and makeup trial, she will do my hair the way i like - which she did for my sister and it looked fabulous.

so i guess my question is - has anyone ever used her before??
also, for my engagement pictures, i was thiking of using makeup by Lo - has anyone used her before? her prices are awesome for e-pics makeup and i can do my hair myself for that day.

any advise and suggestions are very welcome!
