Hair / Makeup Costs

I'm here to enlist the help of my fellow brides again. I just called an got a quote of $185 for a hairstylist to come to the hotel to do my hair at 6:30am. I was also quoted $100 to $150 for makeup. Does this sound reasonable?

Do you ladies mind sharing who you used and how much they charged for an early morning visit?

The makeup sounds right, but I am not too sure about the hair...the cost sounds a little high to me.

I think the hair is high too. $125 tops for hair and it depends on what you're doing. More eleborate, more the cost. The make-up quotes are fair. I'm paying $100 for make-up and $100 for hair.

I think the hair is a bit on the high side, though not over the top. I'm paying $125 for hair (and she is traveling to my hotel room at 6 am) and $175 for makeup.

Sandy, who are you using for your hair and makeup? Will they go to your home/hotel EARLY in the morning?

I am using Elena, $300 for the day for both hair and makeup. I am getting married at 3.30, she is coming at 9.30, she stays until your first dance.

my hair cost $90
make-up $75.

omg.. I'd die if I had to pay 175 for just make-up, are they giving you a new face? lol

I'm paying a total of 125 for BOTH..

my hair is $75 and makeup is $90! and both are coming to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow u guys have nice prices. my makeup alone is $250. I have a stila girl coming in to do it, she did however did a fantastic job on my trial run. I have been to many, but I swear she is the best!

I used the girl who always cuts my hair. She came to my house on a Sunday morning. She charged me $200 for my hair (updo) make up, my mom and grandfathers girlfriend got a blow out and style. She is located in Holbrook/Holtsville area.
