Hair & Makeup - Garden City/Nassau Cty area?

Hi Ladies, Can you offer suggestions on good makeup artists and hair stylists that don't charge an arm and a leg (I have no idea what this even goes for...)

Do I need to start the search now or do I have time? THANKS!!!

I am using Salon Montage in Oceanside on Long Beach Road. They do awesome hair and the makeup girl there knows her stuff.
