Hair & Makeup Help

Hi,

Well, it's that time to start figuring out what to do with my hair and makeup. Can anyone recommend someone who is not too far from Levittown area as I need to be ready very early on my wedding day and want someone who won't have too far to travel. Feel bad I have to ask someone to come to my house that early.

Regarding travel, it's the makeup artist's job to go wherever the job demands. The artist can always turn you down in the initial talks if it's too far, so please don't rule it out yourself.

I used Sachiko Yanase, who I thought was great. Other brides have reviewed her on this site. She told me the earliest she had to be at a job was 3 AM!

For y hair, I used Maria from Lumara salon and spa in Massapequa. She was really nice.
She lives in Massapequa and needed to come out to Stony Brook (about 45 minutes away) at 6am. She said that she was happy to do it because she she made enough money that day between me and my Bridesmaids to take the rest of the day off.
Some hair dressers prefer that.

I used Jill Harth for makeup. She lives in Queens and it took her over 2 hours to get to me the day of my wedding she didn't seem to mind too much either.
