Hi girls! I'm getting married in L.I, but want to get ready at home. Any recommendations on Hair and makeup in Brooklyn? For makeup, I'm looking for someone who does airbrush.

We used Helene-the art of makeup on New Utrecht Avenue and 75th Street for my son's wedding. She did both moms, the bride and a few of the BMs. She even came to the hotel early in the morning to do my DIL. She came herself and brought another girl to do hair. My DIL's hair was really nice and she even put extensions in for her.

Make up I used Nory shes on 3rd Av & 93rd St & I used Grace from Lush Hair Salon shes on 3rd Ave & 84th.

nory is awesome for make-up!
for hair: not sure where you are located in brooklyn, but jennifer at scissors is great, and you cant go wrong with pilo arts

I second Pilo in Bayridge!! Jane one of the creative stylists there does great hair...and they do do airbrush make-up!

I used Helene Art of Makeup, and they do airbrush. Their trial is only $99 for both hair and makeup. I used Aida for hair and my MOH used Brenda for her wedding, they both are great. Helene handles all of the bride's so she will do your trial if you choose to check them out.

I live in Bensonhurst, but don't mind traveling around Brooklyn. I can always bum a ride from someone or take public transportation for the trial. Where is Scissors?
