Hair & Makeup question

My Bm are $55 and my hair is $65
as for makeup $50

I pd. 50 hair and 50 makeup. It was the same for the BM's.

i booked heart & soul right away. i knew that they do a wonderful job, and liked what i saw at the showcase. i saw no point in risking someone else booking my date. i didn't see anyone else. it might help you to know that my friend who booked full didn't book at a showcase and was able to talk down the price $800. i booked right at the showcase, so it didn't seem appropriate to start haggling.

I used Racine in Islip for hair, nails and makeup. I have been getting my hair cut there for about 2 years. I used Linda for an updo and Cynthia for makeup (I think she is the only one who does this). The other girls that specialize in updo's are all great. I get my nails done there every 2 weeks, so I have seen lots of bridal parties done there. 631-224-5240

I think if they are making special provisions for you, they are bound to charge more but that does seem rather expensive at least for the hair, the make up price sounds in line though.. Even though they are opening at 6:30, you are still going to them. The usual practice I have heard of is that the price goes down with more people. Have you asked them about this? I also have to be ready pretty early so I know that you have less choices but I would still shop around if you have the time. I am fortunate in the sense that I only have me, MOH, BM & my Mom to contend with. If you love the way this hairdresser is doing your hair, definitely ask about a break on that price.

Good luck. Remember to find your voice to tell the hairdresser if there is anything you want different than he or she does this way they know before the wedding day and will be more prepared. Where are you getting ready? If I recall you couldn't get the hotel room early. Where are you dressing? Enjoy tomorrow.

If they don't know your invites were already mailed, I'd just give them their invitations now. If they do know, then explain the situation. Sounds like they've been very supportive and loving - I'm sure they'll be thrilled! Good luck! :o)
