i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on hair or makeup artists in Nassau County. specifically Manhasset area. i was going to travel into manhattan on day of wedding but if i can find someone great in my area, that would be better. Thanks!!

Lauren Lavelle in Greenvale is awesome. She used to work in the city at Oscar Blandi and then opened her own salon two years ago in greenvale. She is doing my hair on my wedding. She was also named the updo queen by modern bride a few years ago.

I used Cheryl Esposito she will travel and is super sweet and awesome.
I'm not sure if you're looking for someone to come to you, but there is NuBest in Manhasset. Can't recommend someone personally, because I've only been there for cut/color. Try doing a search on here though...I think I remember a few people mentioning them. They're at 1482 Northern Boulevard.

My make-up artist works for Chanel. Every now and then, she can be found at the Lord and Taylor in Manhasset. She does her trials at her home in Roslyn Heights and she'll come to you on the day of the wedding. I haven't had my wedding yet, but she's been amazing. I didn't like the colors we chose during my first trial, so she invited me to Lord & Taylor one weekend that she was working, and she did another trial for free. She also gave me sample Chanel skincare products to help clear up my skin before the wedding. The trial at her home costs $40, and the wedding day costs $100.
