Hair & Makeup Trial today!! :UPDATED VENT LONG
im about to leave to go to Village Salon & Spa in west islip for a hair and makeup trial!!!

and then i have my Sorority Formal tonight, so I won't be back on probably until sometime tomorrow, maybe not even til Sun/Mon depending how the weekend plays out....
but i WILL be back soon enough w/pics...

UPDATE: UGHHHHHHHHHHHHH it was the most horrible experience of my LIFE!!! im not even going to post pictures i dont want to embarrass the hair dresser (not to mention i look soooo ridiculous)....I'm not going to name names either, HOWEVER someone asked about Cher, it wasn't Cher, so you can book your trial with her! and i hope she's better than the one i had...
i had MULTIPLE pictures of what i wanted, it was very straightforward, but she could not manage to even come CLOSE to it....what she did do, was extremely frizzy, sloppy, there was frizz all over, the curls were barely staying in by the time i got back home after the appt, and it didn't look ANYTHING like what i wanted....
not only that, but throughout the WHOLE appt while she was acting like an amateur hair dresser, she kept telling me 1,000,000 reasons why MY HAIR was the reason why it didnt look right 'You should cut your bangs, want me to cut them now?' 'Your hair is so heavy, ur lucky if it holds a wave, better yet a curl!' 'You need to cut layers in your hair (WHICH I HAVE LONG LAYERS!) your hairs not gonna look right without layers!' 'This would look better IF you had caramel highlights...schedule a highlight' OMG I WAS LIKE R U EFFING SERIOUS???? and she teased my hair so ridiculously much that i still cant get the big knot of what looks like a brillo pad out of my hair!![]()

and she didn't even use my veil or headpiece....why did i bother running around to pick it up, sign it out, return it, etc??? she didnt even bother to do my hair w/the hair stuff....such BS!
now, makeup was so-so...it looked pretty, the colors were nice, BUT i could have done it myself...she spent maybe 15-20 mins doing it? my last trial (for my epics) she took almost an hour to do my makeup!! it was completely off my face by the time i woke up this morning...unlike my e-pics makeup that stayed on ALL day the next day....this definitely was not good enough to last 12 hours for a wedding!! ALSO the biggest problem...before i even made it home after the appt, the eyelashes were coming off!!! that i paid $10 extra dollars for!!!! my mom had to go run out to get me eyelash glue so i could look presentable for my formal.
I hate writing bad reviews about stuff....and if anyone knows anybody from this salon, i apologize, but this is MY bad experience...MY opinions, and in no way would i insist people don't go there...it was a very nice salon, i don't know what happened, why it went so wrong for me...![]()

I have another trial w/my regular hairdresser of 7 years in 2 weeks!!! I am CONFIDENT i will have good things to say and nice pictures to show u then!
