Hair & Makeup Trial....don't know what to think (Pics in Album)

I went tonight to a salon to have my hair and makeup done. At first I didn't know if I liked my makeup because the lighting in the salon is so bad and I saw every little flaw with the lights shining down in every angle. I felt that my eyes came out too dark compared to other girls trials I have seen. He insisted it was darker because in photos it will highlight my eyes more...which I can kinda see.

Then I get my hair done....well sorta. The girl was super nice but she just couldn't get it and everything she did just didn't look right. She had great suggestions and I actually really liked her, but about 3/4 way through she tells me that she would rather someone else do it because she wasn't feeling it and she apologizes. I felt bad because she just seemed like she was in a rut and recommended someone else that could do wedding styles.

So now, tomorrow night i have to go back for another trial.....I don't know whether to be upset or just see what happens. It makes me want to cry that I walked out of there 2 hours later with only my makeup done...not LOVING it at first and then having to go back again to get someone else to do something. Maybe I just have to wait it out and see what happens tomorrow. And to think how much money all of this costs....I think that is what really upsets me the most...(ill try and post a pic in my album)

....don't like the lip color and he said it would be a lighter pink....it reminded me of something i would have stolen from my grandma when i was younger!!

Love your makeup. I think it works great on camera. I had doubts about my makeup as well, its normal.

I'm sorry about the mishap with your hair - very unprofessional IMHO.

But I think your make up looks great - the lipstick really does complement you. BUT, if it's not what you're used to and not what you usually go with you have every right to second guess it - you have to feel comfortable with it.

But it does look gorgeous

I think it looks nice!!!!! My only suggestion is to think about using a matte foundation. I swear my matte products and it helps prevent shine. It looks like we have similar skin types so it may help!

Honestly, i love it! Seriously I think it looks great!

Could it just be that you are not used to seeing yourself with all that makeup on? I really think it looks great!

Looks great! Love the eyes! We are so nervous that we doubt everything as brides. It looks great, not over-done. I'm glad that the girl gave up early. Now you can have amazing work done with your hair too!

Thank you....i think it was just a shocker at first.....I usually wear some makeup but maybe in my head I was picturing something else.

I keep walking around my house stopping at every mirror and I like it more and more.

I am going to get eye lashes put on and just change the color of the lips.

I think the hair is just what makes me nervous.....I just hope that tomorrow goes well and I will feel good about booking with them for myself and my BMs.
