I was recommended to a girl that specializes in bridal updos and I saw on her website that she charges $200! Is that insane or is it just me?

Well....Yes absolutely!! Why does she charge so much? Is she very popular? I think thats kind of crazy. What does she charge for a trial? If you 100% love her then I would say go for it.... Plus tip? haha ahhhh

is it really the going rate? She charged $65 for the trial I believe. The pictures she had on her website looked pretty but that price was just ridiculous

Re: hair (not raunch)
I don't know what to do yet because i do want my hair stylists to do it and last time I was there she actually offered her services and said she would be happy to do it. I was actually planning on inviting her to my wedding. I have been going to her for YEARS and even my mom has become good friends with her. Do I ask her to do our hair and then attend our wedding. I don't know if it's right to ask her to do that then. I can just get other people from the salon to do it though, and I am gonna have them do my make up too. Next time I go get my hair done, I think I'll ask for a make-up trial because I wanna do it for my e-party too.

I think she'd be happy to be invited AND do your hair. Talk to her about it see if she's uncomfortable with it but I'm sure she'll be fine with it.

Yeah I'll talk to her about it. I'll also ask the other people at my salon about it next time I go in, but I do have plenty of time to figure this all out.

$200!? That's insane! I can't believe that's close to the going rate - I never realized how expensive some stuff is.
