Hair.!! I have not gotten married yet BUT I have had hair and makeup done for weddings and they always say hair first!!!

My hair was first and then make-up. Then my bridal attire goes on (in this order with the help of all 4 of my girls including my 12 year old Jr. BM).

1. Bra, panties, pantyhose, and garter
2. Crinoline/bridal slip
3. Bridal gown (I had a non-detachable train)
4. Headpiece
5. Veil (mine was removable which I'd removed after our first dance and pictures)
6. Shoes

To each their own, whatever works for you as every bride is different.

i wanted my hair first b/c i didn't want all the hairspray and crap on my skin...i wanted to wash my face after hair and before makeup!
