hair or makeup? Bridesmaids!!

I am thinking about giving the bmaids a gift certificate to get their hair or makeup done for the wedding..

Did anyone ever do this- Is this tacky as a xmas or bday gift to them? (since its for my wedding)

Also if I gave it as a Bmaid gift- which should I do? Hair or makeup gift certificate?

I want to book my hairdresser for the day- and thought it would be good idea to have all the bridal party aboard for this=

Our wedding is during the day and pics start at 9AM- so its hard enough to find a hairdresser that early

Also, Jenn the Hair Genie- anyone use? how do you get in touch with her?? I want to book her early!

I paid for my BP hair the day of. Not tacky but I would just tell them you will pay for them so they don't make other arrangements-no gift certificate necessary You can get in touch with Jenn through this website through the vendors section. Just be aware that she might take a little while to get back to you (Oksana too) by email!

I think you should get their makeup done. Honestly, if you have to have their hair done that early, I would leave it up to them to book their hair appointment. You have enough stress with everything else! I would leave the hair up to them. Plus, some girls like using their own hair stylist since they know what they are getting. That's what 2 of my bm told me and I agree...so i'm having their makeup done.

I think you should do their makeup. I think it would reduce stress the day of and also be a lot easier in regards to time management.

I think its a bit tacky to give someone hair/makeup for your wedding as a bday/xmas gift.

If you want to pay for it, that's great, but not for a holiday gift.
