Hair people in Manhattan??

I am on hair trial #4 and I need a hair ARTIST at this point - nobody seems to be able to work with my hair.....can someone suggest some of the best hair people in Manhattan? I'm not looking for the Nelson D'Leon's ($800), but someone a little more reasonable.

help! I'm having the toughest time with this vendor

Have you tried either of the Pedala sisters? Maureen or Claudia. Linky They are great! And less than Nelson!!

crap - I should have mentioned that Claudia Pedala is who I have had the trials with so far...and nothing has worked, that is why I wanted to try someone else.

Argh....What about Denise Venti? She's based out of LI, but will come to you. She was booked for my wedding, but her work looks great. Denise

My friends recently had a spa day at the Elizabeth Arden Red Door spa- and we had a wedding that night- so, they took advantage and got their hair and make-up done and they both looked great...

Also- what about asking the girl who cuts your hair? My salon doens't do that kind of thing- but my hair dresser definitely knows people.

I am using Hair Designs by Christine, I have been telling everyone, because I have used her before and she is great. I know how hard it is to find someone good, so when you do, it is nice to share it. She is also out of Long Island but will Travel.(She did my friends wedding in NJ)(631)877-9412
