I was going to try not to get a headpiece or tiara, I was more looking to get the decorated hair pins. I want to wear my hair up and get a vail just on a comb that I can wear for church up until the 1st dance, then take it off, but with the hair pins still have some sparkle. Does anyone have any suggestions where to get such a simple vail, and where to get the hair pins. I checked some places on line that seem to be a bit expensive, and I am not all all crafty enough to make them myself. Any suggestions would be great.

www.glamgal.com has a bunch If you go to weddingchannel.com, message boards, local, NY, do a search on hair pins. Tons of those girls have gotten some beautiful ones. Also, eBay sells them. They can be super expensive or real cheap.

My friend lives near Roosevelt Ave. and Main Street in Flushing, Queens and there are tons of Asian shops that sell pretty hair pins. Also, reasonable in price. Good Luck!

I found some nice ones on ebay, about $20 for 10 of them, little porcelain flowers. good luck!

I love the look of hair pins. Just be careful though, my friend wore them for her wedding and they were all falling out at the end. Maybe when you have your hair trial, have them put the pins in and then dance around for awhile to make sure it isn't going to be a problem
