Hair poll

I like up do's. I think long looks beautiful but I get so nervous that after a few hours the curls will fall out.. ..or even worse.. What if it rains that day?? If my hair is loose, it will turn into a huge frizz ball!!

it depends on what you like. For me I NEVER EVER wear my hair all up, so to do it on my wedding day would not be me at all, and plus I HATE the way i look with my hair all up so i would've been uncomfortable. The few times i let someone convince me to do all up, i was so uncomfortable and hated it. So do what represents you best and what you like best. You can have them try both styles.

I did basically all down, just had my bangs pinned back but thats about it. I did loose curls but thats what i liked best and what i felt most comfortable in.

thats my biggest worry too i have really thinck curly hair UGH.
i love the 2 pics you have posted it really depends on your dress and what you feel most comfortable doing with your hair

I'm personally not doing one but its not for this reason. I saw A LOT of 08ers who did half up half down and looked gorgeous. I think you should do what makes you feel comfortable and beautiful. As for your trial, tell your person to try both.

maybe it was the specific style she was going for... but i remember thinkin omg... thats how most of LIW girls do their hair... i was a bit shocked that he said that but maybe for the theme she was recreating, the style just didnt go with it... i wanted the half do myself bc FH always liked my hair that way... dont worry... david doesnt know everything... hahaa

honestly dont do something that you dont want to do just bc others say so. I wouldnt have changed my hair for anybody, sorry but i have to look at the pics for the rest of my life not everybody else and if i wouldnt have been happy then it would be me who would have to always look at pics where i didnt like how i looked on my wedding day. So if its not something you want dont just do it. And also depends on updo's, its funny bc i saw glamours do and dont list and many didnt like updo's and said to do down hairstyles, and other hairstylists and magazines also say they dont like the too promish look and like more natural, so everybody has their own opinions.

PLUS remember that david picks a certain style depending on the bride, other brides he had on the show he didnt pick an updo for them. It depends also on the dress and style of their wedding. Not to mention that david did pick a style of hair for the 08 bride that was on the show and one thing she hated was the hairstyle he chose for her the day of.

ETA: plus depends alot on your face structure. Everybody has different shapes so also do what is best for you. I have a very round face so thats why i hate hair all up plus i have big ears lol so thats why i hate it. So best advice is to not go by what majority of ppl do but what is best for your face type. Some look good with an updo while others dont, and some look nice with hair down while others dont

yeah i remember when he said that too i was kinda like eh i dont really agree. I think any hairstyle whether its all down, all up or half up depending on how its done can have that younger immature look to it that he was talking about, just depends on how its done. I agree, that it all will depend on the dress, the wedding itself and also your face structure. I do understand what he is saying though bc i have seen some half up that do remind me more of a promish type look i guess, but then others that are real elegant and nice
