Hair poll--- x-post from 08 board

So I fell in LOVE with this hairstyle... and when my MOH saw it today her exact words were 'noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo........ one word, BEEHIVE!'

lol.

So I still REALLY love it, but give me your honest opinion!! I don't want to know if you'd do your hair this way b/c I know we're all different, but if you saw this on a bride would you think it looked like a beehive??? I'm just not seeing that!

Seriously, only click beehive if you really find this hair to be offensive!! If I choose it for my wedding I don't want to be self-conscious!!

I think its do-able. I dont like it tho, I think its too big and high, I think you can do big and high without going over board.

ETA: You can do that same style without it being something that people will be shocked by. Alot of people have done big and high and its gorgeous

I'll make sure I tell my hair girl I love the style but to just steer clear of beehive territory

I have really long thick hair tho, so I'm not sure how small she can make it, but we shall see!!

I know there is a picture of a girl going around the site, I will have to find it. Its gorgeous and she has really long thick hair, its big and high but not like Marge Simpson high

SOrry not trying to offend you-truthfully if you like it have a trial and see what you think. It is kind of hard to see how high it really is-it MAY look great from the front with a HP and that may help with the height.

Me, I dont like any styles that are high, I prefer them high but more on the crown then top, I think if you can pull it off go for it. Really who cares what anyone says about the hair style you wear-its your wedding, as long as you are happy with it and its what you want then why not.

i actually think this is gorgous & elegant & if u have beautiful thick hair then go for it....EVERYONE is going to have a different opinion. Never are you going to have every single person in the world agree with u so who cares what ur MOH has to say. YOU have to like it. I think it's gorgous - Especially if ur dress is super elegant(and honestly - what wedding dress isn't? ). It's beautiful....but regardless of the style u sould have a trial anyway! I also went and tried on my dress after my hair trial but i like it!

And I'm DEFINITELY trying on the dress right after I get it done. I told FH he has to disappear for the day when I do my trial b/c I want to leave it in all day to see if it lasts

i love the hair actually .. very elegant and diff ive never seen anything like it and remember there will be a time (walking downthe aisle) that people will only see you from the back its perfect for that ...xoxoxo

I personally like it. Do what you want-don't worry about what others think. If it flatters your face and your dress, rock it. Most girls thought I should grow my hair out for the wedding because 'short hair isn't wedding sexy.' PFT !!!!!! I think i looked great and my husband LOVED the curls. he wants me to do the style again when we go out to a nice place.

Its all abotu what you are comfy with. i think if you have thick hair it wil look beautiful-really shows off your shouldeers and neckline.

It is very interesting. Since I don't c the front I can't tell 100% if it is to Peg Bundy

For long beautiful hair as yourself my vote will always be to wear it down and fluffy, curly, wavy or striaght and teased & smooth.

Make your hair into what you want on your day regardless of what we think!!!
