Minus tips, how much are (or were) you being charged for your hair the day of? And how much did you pay for the trial?
Also, how much tip will/did you leave at both ocassions?
I'm going for a hair trial soon (very late, huh?), and would like to know how much, roughly.

me - $30 BM -$55
Same for trial. I didn't give her a tip at the trial since she did this out of her home on her day off from the salon. The day of I'll probably giver her a little gift, she may not except a tip from me since again this isn't through a salon.

Trial and Day of $48.00 BM- same for an updo MOB- $17.00 for a blow out

How come your BM paid more? I'm assuming this is a friend, and since you're bringing her clientele, she's giving u a discount?

Btw, did you guys do anything special to your hair before hand? Special as in highights, dye, cut, etc...
