Hair Question

Hair Question

So, I had a trial yesterday and I defintely liked it. However, I really want to wear my hair down, maybe curled a little and half up half down but I have thick hair that tends to get frizzy in the warm weather. So, I opted for up in a low bun type of style. I really liked it, but was wondering, what do you think... Should I go for another trial with it down... I just don't want to risk it totally frizzing out the day of... Anyone with similar experiences????
Will a lot of hair spray help it not frizz???

Re: Hair Question

This was my take on it, I played it by the weather when I woke up that day. If it was hot or humid, it was going up, thank god it was perfect out so I wore it down. I usually can not stand my hair down and in my face, but it did not bother me at all that day.

Here is a pic of the back of it, but you can check my album for some other views.

Hope that helps

Re: Hair Question

i say go for another trial to see if u'll like what she does for it down...hairspray will hep but she will most likely have other products that help with frizz..good luck!!

Re: Hair Question

I have the same problem as you. i have extremely thick wavy hair that gets frizzy if it is humid. I normally get my hair chemically straightened b/c it is so hard to deal with and it dries much faster.

I was wondering the same thing as you with the 1/2 up 1/2 down issue with curls. I have the same fear. My hair dresser is a friend and I know she has said we can do it 1/2 up and 1/2 down with curls but i have not gone into details with her as of yet about the curls holding up.

I know when i was a teenager, I got a perm and it did not hold. Tehy even did a piggy back perm and it still did not stay in b/c my hair was too thick.

I say go for a trial and see how long it holds up. i would try to get a trial in the hot and humid weather and see how it goes.

Good luck.

Re: Hair Question

We'll have the same anniversary- I just got married one year earlier! I also wanted to wear my hair down but opted for something low and up (sorry I don't have any great pictures of it to share) which definitely kept me cooler. But seeing how the weather is the day of and the making the decision isn't a bad idea.
