Hair Question

Hi ladies! Well, I was going to wait until Sept./October for my hair/makeup trial but I'm getting a bit antsy. My issue is this: I always thought I would wear my hair up....FH wants me to wear my hair 1/2 up 1/2 down. My fear is that I have dark hair and it gets oily. I'm afraid that if I do 1/2 up 1/2 down they will hairspray the crap out of me and my hair will look jet black and crunchy....and then get oily and lose it's curls....

I know these ladies are pros so it may not happen. Should I try that for the trial and see or just do it all up? Anyone have similar issues? AHHHHHH....here's my dress is that makes a difference....
