Hair Question

Are you ladies washing your hair the day of or night before? I had a hair trial last week and I had washed my hair that morning and the hairdresser said I should have showered the night before so my hair would better hold a curl. Not too comfortable with this because my hair gets pretty greasy...was just wondering what ya'll are doin

you should wash it the day or night before but do not straighten it or it will not hold the curl from a curling iron really well.

I was told to wash it the night before, put moose in it and blow it out.

I might wash it the night before. My hair is very shinny so I don't want it to look gross by the end of the night.

i have the same problem as you

I actually found that when I washed my hair the night before, the curls fell out sooner! I guess the 'grease' lol makes the hair slippery

The best results I have had if I wash the morning of but don't condition...the curls lasted for 12+ hours!!! and my hair neverrrr holds a curl but all these stylists just work magic! lol

ETA: and yes do not straight iron! air dry or lightly blow dry!! do not pull it taught with a brush when you blow dry!

my hair from TWOTY was freshly washed, no conditioner and lightly blown dry

my hair from hair genie was washed day of, air dried and no conditioner

and roseanna was washed day of, blown dry and no conditioner

all of them lasted alllll day and night

My hair is a complete greaseball (TMI? ), but I have done that as directed for three weddings and it's been fine each time.

I just use a little bit of a mousse when I blow it out...one that I know keeps my hair pretty dry.

I have the same problem...I am washing my hair the morning of....I don't want greasy hair for the wedding and don't worry - the curls will stay!

I am blowing my hair out the night before. Thats what my hair stylist told me to do.

She said to wash it and dry it with no product in it
