So every few months I get an itch to change up my hair; its my way of being 'rebellious'. Nothing too dramatic, dye it a couple shades darker or get more layers. The point now is. I want my hair to be fairly long for my wedding. Right now its just about the longest its ever been, but its starting to feel straggly and hard to style. I want to cut a few inches but want it to be almost this long by my November wedding. My hair grows relatively quickly. Here's the question (because it usually takes me about 2 weeks of pondering and looking through dozens of pics to make a decision):
If I cut my hair about 3-4 inches now (right now it is long enough that it comfortably sits below my boobs) so if I cut it to say just below the shoulder, do you think it will grow about 2.5-3 inches by November?
I know this may seem like a ridiculous question. I guess I'm a little nuts when it comes to hair!

Re: Hair question - not hair for day of, but KWR!
i believe hair grows at a rate of about .5 inches a month..so if you cut it by march, by nov. 1 your hair should grow about 4 inches..
but i think it depends on how quick/slow your hair grows

Re: Hair question - not hair for day of, but KWR!
i asked this the other day basically...
the concensus was half an inch per month ON AVERAGE. your hair might grow faster or slower.
i grabbed some biotin vitamins, at barb's recommendations, because it supposedly makes your hair and nails grow faster. plus i take prenatals so... hopefully together...itll grow fast.
if you want to cut it, cut away sister.
remember YOU CAN ALWAYS GET EXTENSIONS.
which i will probably end up doing anyways because i want huuuuuuuge, long hair.
