How far in advance did you have your trial, and do I bring my veils?

Re: hair questions..
I had mine about two weeks ago which was two months before my wedding. I brought my headpiece and I used my sisters (married already) veil because I haven't picked mine up yet. My hairdresser said that she didn't need the veil, just the headpiece. I was glad that I used my sisters veil because I got to drive home looking like a bride (everyone at every light was staring...it was fun...hehe).

Re: hair questions..
I just called to see if my veils were in and they said they are, but they are not ready. They need 2 weeks to get them ready.
She told me I was early for a hair trial. I have a little less than 5 months- Is that too early?

Re: hair questions..
Sunny, its never too early for the trial. I did mine 7 months in advance and purely by luck had only 2 trials, but with make-up, I have been doing trials since then, and only found someone in March.
Its never too early and you don't need your veil, just have an idea how it will look.

Re: hair questions..
My wedding is 4 1/2 months away and I'm doing trials now b/c I don't know who I want to use so I'm using them to choose a stylist.

Re: hair questions..
well, to be honest, I ordered my veils in a whirl without much research on what I wanted them to look like. I am not even sure what I got, so I want to see them with my hair. (I did not realize there were so many different kinds- I thought a veil was a veil)
