Ok so i need a hair salon quick! I have to get my hair done in an updo on Friday for a wedding! The place I made the appointment at is specifically for african american woman and I had no idea...i drove past the place today and saw that on the sign! Help! I live in Middle Island I will travel a reasonable distance!! I am not looking to spend anymore 40 dollars max 50 dollars! help!!

u can try the Hollywood Salon and Spa in Miller Place..my cousin Krystle works there - she's amazing! she's a master stylist, so she may be more than what ur looking for but u can try and call and see their pricing. Another AWESOME stylist (i used to use her as my 'up-do' girl untill my cousin got her job close by) is Tracy at Hot Hair...it's pretty much right on the corner of 112 and 83 (next to 7-11) which is super close to middle island. she's great & up-do's are definetly her thing! They have pretty decent prices too. Give them a call!!!! good luck!

I was going to suggest Hollywood as well. The only other place I know of is T.Carlton in Smithtown.
