I LIVE IN L-TOWN. MY neighbor always does my hair. But there is a place on Wantagh Ave. near segesta pizza (best pizza ever) called Anthony and Co. I have never been there but i heard they are pretty good from someone on here.
I go to Salon D'Arel in East Meadow, it is right on N.Jeruslaem Ave. They are right near you. I love where I go. The owner cuts my hair and highlights it. His name is Al. All the hairstylists in there are great.
On Hempstead Tpk, there is a place called Sam John's...THey are directly across from Fireside deli. I have been going to them since I was little. FM for any information
I love Stacy at Bocara on Wantagh Ave. right across from McArthur HS. It is in a shopping center. Another LIW bride referred me to her!
I grew up in Levittown and my parents still live there (and your house looks sort of familiar to me!). I didn't realize that there were all these salons in the area, but I am glad to know since I will need a wedding day salon.
