hair salons/makeup recommendations

Does anyone have any recommendations for hair and makeup? My girls and I are staying in Great Neck the night before the wedding. I was originally hoping to have hair and makeup come to the hotel, but I think that may be too much.

Anyway, does anyone have recommendations for a salon in the western Nassau area that does both hair and makeup? The only one I've been to is NuBest in Manhasset for my friend's wedding. I liked them, but some of the other girls that day were not as thrilled.

Your suggestions would be appreciated!

I go to Fox & Company Salon & Spa in Floral Park. The girl who does my hair is Lisa. She's been my hairdresser since I was 15 and has done my hair for my sweet 16, prom, and will also be doing it for my wedding. They also have some people who do makeup as well. I had them do my makeup for sweet 16 and prom also and they do a great job.

Other than Nubest, good options are

1. William Matt Salon and Spa
2. Maximus Westbury

Neither of these is too far from great neck.
