My last two Conair tools broke way too quickly! I have wavy/curly hair and swear by Sultra (they also make a great curling iron)... they're pricey but a lot of times good deals will pop up. a couple of months ago I got a $165 straightener for $50

Another good place is Harmon inside of bed bath & beyond (or the separate store) because you can use the bb&b 20% off coupons...I got a hot tools one there for much cheaper !

I love it. I use to go through conair regularly and it took an hour to straighten my hair. With Hot Tools Professional its thick and powerful it can do my below the shoulders hair in 20 to 30 minutes!

I have a conair and its good and their customer service is really good. I have heard great things about hot tools though and might try that one out soon. My hair stylist highly recommends hot tools.
