I like the Nouvelle Salon in Babylon village. They are really sweet there and its spa too.

I grew up in W. Islip & have been going to Salon Nouvelle for years now. Even when I lived in NYC and Westchester, I would come down to have my hair cut. My friends think I'm nuts!! But, ladies, when u find a good stylist, you've got to stick with it!! They are very professional...on the busy side, especially on Sat. afternoons. I love Maria & recently had my haircut by Cher...she was fantastic too! Worth a try
