Hair Timing on Day of--Need Advice

My ceremony starts at 3:30pm and I'm doing pictures beforehand.

The latest my hair lady can finish my hair on the day of is 10:30am (she has another bride after me).

Is 5 hours from end of hair style to start of ceremony too much time???

Depends on the hair, I think. If you're doing an updo that kind of tight, it could be okay. But if you're wearing it looser, or down in curls, it could start to fall by then.

Hmm, I would personally not do it that much ahead of time, but if it stays, that would be fine.

See this is what I'm having trouble with....I loved my hair trial with this person but she now says she can only be with me until 10:30....I really don't want to move to a new person but don't want to have my hair fall either....

to be honest I would be worried about it falling out... it depends I guess on where you are getting ready and how much you have to be outside, if you are taking pictures outside beforehand, etc.

honestly i would do a few more trials of those that are available to do your hair later.. you can bring the pic and see if they can recreate it. i know a lot of girls on here have had a lot of good experiences w/ different hair stylists

I think that is way to much time inbetween. I would also be worried about her rushing with me because she has another bride waiting

With pics beforehand, what time are you guys trying to finish with you hair? T-4 hours, T-3 hours? I am doing pictures outdoors beforehand....

i think it shoudl be fine for an updo i mean the time between shes done and you have to take pics, youll be waiting in the house anyway so not like there gonna be wind blowing around to mess it up

Is she just doing your hair or are there other people getting their done also that day?

My only concern would be if she isn't just doing your hair and she falls behind then she will be rushing your hair to get to her next wedding and I know that would bother me.

You are using Stacy from Styles on B, right? She is really awesome, unfortunately she was booked for my day so my hair search continues

I hope so... I'll be in a hotel getting ready and probably picture taking at Grand Central and then taking car to Water 's Edge....so I hope you are right, not much wind....

I also am really against doing more trials...

Thanks guys! Not sure what I'll end up doing but good to get more opinions...

Has another bride later in the day. Maybe I'll bring this up to her assistant....the schedule they presented me was very detailed so I'd hope she'd stay on schedule.

I'm sorry she's booked on your date---I really liked her and want to stick with her!
