so I went for my first hair trial and I am just not happy. She played with different styles for 1.5 hrs and I didnt get a chance to see the complete way I will look on the day of. Please share any opinions suggestions (and it was $60)
I think that the style looks very similar to what the bride had . . . maybe you just don't like the way it looks on you?

Re: Hair Trial
I think your hair looks beautiful. But I think I understand what you are not happy with. When I keep looking at the two pictures her curls and top part seem more defined than yours. I think you were going for curly-er or a deeper curl than you got. Still looks pretty though. Listen...my father always said, don't settle for anything you don't want. If you are not happy with it, don't take it. You can't do this day over once it's done.

Re: Hair Trial
Yes I did but her hair girl is out in Port Jeff and Im in CT. She said the day of the curls will be tighter and what not but without me seeing the final product I cant picture it and I freek out. Maybe its just me. Anyone have any other hair ideas that I can try? Thanks for the help girls. I feel like other girls that get their trial done get their final result and can see it??

I went for my hair trial & had the same experience....she did my hair 'quick' so I could 'get an idea' of my day of hair. I was disappointed that I didn't get to see my hair look as perfect as if it were my wedding day but I trust things will go smoothly and more time will be put into the actual hairdo than the trial. If you don't have that trust look elsewhere.

It looks very similar to me, but I think maybe she had more hair pulled up and less down?

Re: Hair Trial
I totally understand what you're worried about.... I agree with others... it looks like curl definition... which likely is just a product / curler thing... but the inspiration hair-do likely has a lot of discrete pinning around her head to manage those 'spontaneous' tressles and curls, which I bet your do didn't have.... I dunno... I would feel uneasy with the quick do and a 'trust me it will look more definied on the real day' comment too. maybe try someone else?
I also had my hair trial yesterday She started by curling all my hair with curlers, taking them out, shaping and brushing them a bit.... the result was a lot of body, almost like the inspiration pic.,,, then she put my hair 1/2 up... (pics in album)....
good luck!

Re: Hair Trial
At the front, on your right side, I think it would look nicer if it were swept to the side and pinned, rather than having a tendril hanging down and then a gap to your hairline.
The style needs to be more cohesive.

Re: Hair Trial
Hey...you are paying her 60$ to style your hair...then she shouldn't be telling you oh it will look better that day. This is your special day and if you are paying her to make it look beautiful it should be beautiful every time. Don't let ANYONE give you the brush off! Make sure youare 100% happy, otherwise you will be anxious until the hair is done and then may be unhappy with the result.

Re: Hair Trial
i think it looks pretty. I think the bride in your pics has thicker hair, maybe thats why your stylist could not duplicate it exactly.

Re: Hair Trial
I don't think it looks that bad. But she really should've made u satisfied before u left. A trial is for u to SEE how it's going to look for the wedding day. I think if the front was swept down and brought back a little softer not soo extreme and the have some of the curls cascading down from the tiara so it doesn't just stop and then there are curls on the bottom also just make the curls tighter on the bottom because your hair will loosen up. and glue the CRAP out of it Don't worry.

Yep..same thing here... my stylist tried something out and I didn't like part of it, so she changed it around to what I wanted but it was just really loose n stuff, but she assured me that it will all be tighter, and higher on the wedding day and she'll be using ALOOOT more hairspray...so I'm just gonna trust her.
But I think your hair looks pretty, and I'm sure it will look even better on the big day.

Re: Hair Trial
The highlights in the picture are lighter around her face. Yours is darker and stand out more. You may want to lighten the strands around your face to create the same effect.

I agreee exactly..maybe extensions would thicken it up more?
