Hair Trial

For those of you girls that had hair trials.

Did you have to have separate trials for different styles?

Example -- I want to try an updo w/staight hair and half-up/half-down with curly hair.

Do I have to set up two separate appts and pay each time?

That is what I thought, but she wound up doing 2 styles for the price of one. I don't know if this is normal, but if you want a 'trial' and you don't like the way it looks , they should be able to give you what you want and not charge you extra for it.

I only paid $60 for my trial, and she did half up/half down and then just took the down part and put it up later on when I wanted an updo.
I don't know if that makes a difference b/c it wasn't a COMPLETELY different hairstyle. But I asked her before we began and she said it wouldn't be a problem.

Lucky you.I paid $75 for my trial...and the girl i did a trial with got annoyed after I said i didn't like the front.. i honestly thought she was still working on it and then she said 'no this is it' it was puffy on one side, flat on the other...sloppy.. Then she started playing around with it and doing it all half-@ssed... She kept saying well it will look better on the day of....
Needless to say..im still looking for someone ...

yeah, I would definitely look for someone else. Where are you located? I can give you the number for my girl who only works in Suffolk County. If you have 5 or more girls doing their hair the day of, you get your hair for free!!!

It's only me and my daughter the day of..which is why I can't use Jen the hair Genie..
I would also need the person to come to me at 7am on Sunday ...so i can't go to a salon...this is the ONLY thing stressing me out about the wedding !!! :(

Where are you going to be the day of the wedding? Your house? Where do you live?
I can give you this girls number if you want. I think she did an excellent job, I am also going to possibly see her again this sunday b/c I want to change my hair style and try something else.
