I have my hair trial and dress fitting on the same day. I however am going to feel like a BIG jerk walking into Davids bridal with my hair all done with a tiara in it. I feel like people will be looking at me. Please tell me I'm a giant a$$ and that having my dress on and hair done at the same time will give me an idea of what I will look like on the real day...

I just did this last weekend! It's totally normal....I didn't have a fitting, just trying on the sample....but everyone in the store was like oh your hair looks perfect with the dress! etc. it's smart!!

i have my hair and make up trial and second fitting all in one day (April 10th)! My salon suggested it.

I remember at least a couple of bridal magazines recommending you do trials same day you dress fitting.

i went to try on the sample dress after having my hair AND makeup trials and it was great! it let me see how my hair fell with my dress (i still want to grow it out a little more, but its not too long) and i ended up buying earrings there! it was great to see the whole look together -- nobody said anything mean to me but one bride complimented me on her way out and someone else's mom kept staring at me with a goofy grin like she was imagining her daughter all dressed up

I think that's the best thing to do...get a feel for what you will look like on the day of your wedding. I'm sure many brides do that.
