So my hair isn't that long so I now understand why other people just weren't doing what I asked them - because they couldn't. BUT it would have been nice had one of them mentioned that.
ANYWAY... Angela did exactly what I wanted. On the day of we're going to add some height and swap sides of the bun.
I am also going to buy some extensions so we can make the bun bigger and it'll be fuller. I have never had extensions before so any advice - where you got them, who died them etc would be awesome...
So excited for you, Gina!!!!!! That's awesome!!!!!! It looks great!
I bought my extensions from Carolyn and she dyed them. (She also dyed my hair the week of).

Looks awesome Gina! Ummmmm.... I have extensions that I wound up not using. They're top quality real hair, and based on the color of your hair, you MIGHT not have to dye them. If you're interested lmk, I'll give them to you really cheap!!! Seriously they're just sitting in the box and I know I'll never use them.

Thanks... it's nice enough without them but since my hair isn';t that long she had to pull it a little tighter than I would have liked to get the hair over to the bun. With the extentions she'll be able to give the top of my head a little more height so it doesn't look slicked down.

Try Sally beauty supply for extentions (I know there is one in Smithtown by the mall). They should come with clips attached if not ask the ladies there for the clips you might have to sew them in. If they don't have your color. Get blonde and either have your hairdresser dye them your color or do it yourself. It's really easy just really messy.
