Hair Trial today - with pics!!

I'm going with my hairdresser that I've been using since I was 12! I babysat for her kids too...my whole family uses her. We had a struggle today finding which curlers worked best with my very fine hair...and the reason you'll notice one side is curlier than the other is we were comparing the two - one set on one set, other set on the other. You can tell which one wins!

The top will be higher and fuller....it kept falling but we're gonna set it a little better next time.

it's perfect - don't change a thing! i would normally agree with you about making the top higher, but i tried that with my hair, and my headpiece got lost in all the hair! you really look great - that's the perfect style for you!!!

I think it looks perfect! It's not overdone or anything. Is that your wedding makeup also? I think it looks flawless.

Out of curiosity - are you planning on taking off the veil during the reception?

My wedding is during the day - so FH and I decided that we're going to have an after-party at a local bar, and I'm debating if I should change out of my dress but keep the veil on so people know I'm the bride.

Thanks so much! Nope, that's my everyday makeup - it just looks a little fresher cuz it's earlier in the day.

I'm keeping my veil on the whole time...although I'm sad no one can see the back. When I went to Jenafee's ceremony I remember seeing how gorgeous her hair looked behind her veil and I was hoping she'd take her veil off for her reception- and she did! My mom would DIE if I took my veil off! Suddenly I'm no longer a bride to her when the veil is off!

I love the idea of keeping the veil on for the after party!! How cool would that look if you were in jeans and heels! I've always wanted an after party at a bar. Before I discovered this website, I was inspired when I saw a bride and her BP partying at our favorite bar. I thought that would be the perfect place for our reception. Obviously we never went through with that!!

Tara, it came out great!!! Did you end up washing your hair this morning? I know you were debating about what to do. Hopefully if you did wash your hair today, the style will hold all day and you will be able to do your normal routine on your wedding morning like you wanted.
