Hair Trial With Extensions

Has anyone had a hair trial where they did extensions for you? If so, do you have a recommendation?

I want long thick head of curls the day of!

my sister had extensions put in, but not for a down-do...for her updo to be fuller. So the extensions were just those clips on ones. She did hers with hair sculpting by Renee- Renee ordered them online and dyed them to match her hair...

as I am typing this, I am feeling as if I am no help...

I was wondering too....my hair is NOWHERE near as long as it will be when we get married and I want to see what its going to look like!

Couldnt FH have told me he was going to propose? Then I wouldnt have chopped off 11 inches of my hair!!!!

lol, thanks for the input anyway! When I did a search online, a few 2010 girls ordered their extensions online and had their hair people put it in but I wanted them to do it for me first at a trial so I can see if it looks good enough to order.

I don't want it to look fake!

I've only cut my hair once since FH proposed and it's sooo long now but my hair is really fine! I need to bulk it up

I'm wearing clip in extensions. You can wear them either up or down, just make sure they're made with human hair so you can heat style them. I've had a few friends who had the glue in extensions put in and their hair took a long time to get back to normal, and they were losing chunks of hair on their honeymoons!

No, not yet. I have them ( I made them myself , and I put them in myself) my stylist though that I've been going to since I was 16 told me that its normal to have whoever is doing your hair put them in for you. As long as you tease your hair enough, those suckers stay in even if your hair gets pulled.

I made them! I went to a beauty supply store, got some tracks of hair that match my hair, and got the clips too. It's incredibly easy to do, and you can make whatever sections you want for your hair!

i bought some and used them in an updo for my friends wedding.. NO WHERE near my actual hair texture of color but it actually worked and looked really good.

But in order to style like you want to, you will need human hair ones. We couldnt do much with the ones I had so i was happy they were put to good use for an updo. But any hair person should be able to get them for you - but since they need to be human hair then can be expensive.

nope, I think I'm going to go again this weekend I think...

i have long thick hair but i still plan on using this one extension thing that my hair stylist recommended for me.

i haven't gotten my trial yet but i will definitely let you know when i do

If anyone is looking for good clip-in extensions get the jessica simpson hairdo ones. They have ones that can be styled too (curled, etc.) they have great colors and are reasonably priced...i wear one a lot
