Do you know where I can get a hair trial in Nassau County that is more relaxed and not sprayed to death. I had a hair trial this weekend and it was sprayed and teased...I wanted something more natural that was half up and down.
THANKS!! I don't know any salons and I'm not thrilled with the vendors on this website.

Thanks for posting this! i am in the same bind. i had one trial and it was stiff as a board with 85 bobby pins! i just dont think that is really my style. and i dont live in the area so i dont have a regular hairdresser. can anyone help us??

Did you explain to them what you where looking for...maybe Try bringing in a picture...That's What I did.

The woman who did my hair was FANTASTIC! She knew exactly what I wanted and didn't leave it looking or feeling 'starched' the way some look. Let me know if you're interested.

I had my trial w/Mya @ Cosmetic Artistry and my hair wasn't overly stiff from hairspray. Did you tell the stylist before hand that you don't want a stiff look?

and she did this style and I loved it!
She did use spray and I expect it to be sprayed even more on the wedding day, but I want to make sure it lasts all day.

Thanks. i Might try Mya. I brought in a picture of someone with a low chingon (sp??) which looked really good on her! but it just wasnt me. my problem is too that my hair is pretty fine, so they would have to add fake hair! where do i find Diana? oh, and the hair genie is booked for my date, so is Denise Venti.
