Should I have my hair trial done before my veil and headpiece have been picked out of after? does it make a difference?

I picked out my hair accessory at my hair trial. She also had sample veils so I could see the overall look, but I won't be buying my exact veil until after the first fitting.

i would wait to pick out your headpiece.
at first i thought i wanted a spray but now im going with a headband and the hair style is going to change bc of that.
